What beef is used for Jilly’s Jerky?

We use premium and responsibly sourced beef from two reputable farms in Illinois. Currently our beef comes from Slagel Family Farm (Fairbury, Illinois)

Where do you make Jilly’s Jerky?

We make our product in the River Forest Kitchen, River Forest, Illinois.

How big is an individual size bag?

Our individual serving sized bags are one ounce and typically contain approximately 10-13 slices of jerky.

Who makes Jilly’s Jerky?

Jill and Anthony La Penna, properly trained and certified, are the proud jerky makers for your eating privileges.

What is the shelf life of Jilly’s Jerky?

Unopened bags will have an expiration date on them (up to one year), but once opened, we recommend eating the contents within three days and refrigerate after opening if not consumed that day.

Where can I buy Jilly’s Jerky?

You can buy Jilly’s Jerky now on our website and at the Logan Square Farmer’s Market. We are excited to announce more locations soon!
